Our signature 40-minute workout is high-intensity and low-impact, designed to improve strength, endurance, cardio, core, balance, and flexibility. This full-body functional fitness class combines hands-on instruction with expert programming to keep your heart rate high and your muscles burning. Targeting your upper body, lower body, and core, this class will challenge and transform you, both physically and mentally. Perfect for those looking for a targeted challenge, this class keeps the intensity high while honing in on your upper body and core. Whether you’re looking to refine your strength or try something different, this class will leave you feeling strong, balanced, and accomplished.

Foundations of Lagree: BEGINNERS TECHNIQUE

If you're new to Pilates Plus or the Megaformer, this slower-paced, 40-minute class is the perfect starting point. With a small group of eight or fewer, you’ll focus on the essential exercises, modifications, and techniques that define the Lagree method. This class emphasizes learning at your own pace while still providing a full-body workout. Recommended for beginners or those refreshing their technique, it’s the ideal introduction before advancing to our “Full Body” class.

  • Absolutely! Lagree is perfect for all fitness levels, and our expert instructors will guide you every step of the way, providing clear instructions and adjustments to help you succeed. While it may take a couple of classes to feel fully confident, we are always there to support you and ensure you feel encouraged and cared for. Beginners often share how much they love that our classes “challenge every muscle” while leaving them feeling “accomplished and ready for more.”

  • No prior experience is necessary! Our expert instructors make it easy to get started with Lagree, offering step-by-step guidance to help you feel confident and comfortable. Clients love how our classes are “perfect for all levels” and how our instructors ensure everyone feels supported and set up for success, whether it’s their first session or their fiftieth.

  • For your first class, all you need is yourself and a positive attitude! We provide the Megaformer machines, mats, and equipment. Just make sure to wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes that allow for movement, and don't forget to bring a pair of grippy socks for safety and stability on the Megaformer.

  • Our standard Lagree classes are 40 minutes long, giving you an efficient, full-body workout that targets strength, cardio, and flexibility in a short amount of time. We also offer longer classes on occasion, but 40 minutes is the ideal duration for maximum intensity and results.

  • Our classes are kept small to ensure personalized attention. We typically have no more than 10-12 clients per class, which allows the instructor to provide modifications, corrections, and support to everyone as needed.

  • Lagree in La Jolla is a full-body workout focused on strength, cardio, and flexibility. The Megaformer machine provides constant resistance, and each movement is slow and controlled to maximize muscle engagement. Expect a mix of exercises targeting different muscle groups, with short intervals of rest to keep your heart rate elevated and your metabolism working.

  • Yes! If a class is full, you can join the waitlist for Lagree in La Jolla. If a spot opens up, you will be notified and can secure your place. We recommend getting on the waitlist early to increase your chances of getting in, especially for popular class times.

  • The Full Body class targets your entire body with a variety of exercises focusing on strength, endurance, and muscle definition. The Arms & Abs class is a more specialized, 40-minute session that isolates the upper body and core, providing intense work for your arms, shoulders, and abs. Both classes are challenging, but the Arms & Abs class is more focused on toning those specific areas.

  • Yes, we recommend signing up for classes in advance, especially during peak hours. Our classes can fill up quickly, and reserving your spot ensures you don't miss out. You can easily book classes online or through our app.

  • We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel your class, we ask that you do so at least 6 hours before the scheduled start time to avoid a cancellation fee. If you’re unable to make it and don’t cancel in time, there may be a charge for the missed class.

  • The best time to take a Lagree class depends on your schedule and fitness goals. Some clients prefer early morning classes to start their day with a burst of energy, while others enjoy evening classes to unwind. We recommend taking classes when you feel most energized and can commit to consistency. Our schedule offers a variety of times to fit different lifestyles.

  • Absolutely! Lagree provides a full-body workout that complements other forms of exercise, such as cardio, yoga, or strength training. Many clients combine Lagree with activities like running or weightlifting to balance their routines and prevent overuse of certain muscle groups. Just make sure to give your body proper recovery time between workouts.
